Why 3 minds for you?

No fixing. No forcing. No fitting into boxes.

Most services start by looking for what’s wrong.

We start by looking for what’s strong.

At 3 Minds, we work with neurodivergent people and their families in a way that:

  • Doesn’t assume.  You choose the changes & we help you get there.

  • Doesn’t see a diagnosis to erase, sees a person to support.

  • Doesn’t push you into someone else’s idea of “normal.”

IUnlike traditional therapy approaches, we:

  • See your strengths first.

  • Explore the changes you want , not what’s on a checklist.

  • Create spaces where you can be yourself and still grow.

  • Help you find ways of living that actually work for you.

  • Work with your mind, your pace, your priorities.

  • Everything we do is specifically designed for ADHD and Autistic Individuasl.

The therapy industry loves buzzwords like neuroaffirming.  We will always respect you by working towards meeting your needs and seeing you for the person you are.

Not loving how things are? That’s okay. We can change the hard parts without changing who you are.

THE HUMAN BEHIND 3 MINDS

If you’re looking for perfect and polished, that’s not me.
If you’re looking for real, pull up a chair.

Neurodivergent? Yep, me too.

I’m officially diagnosed AuDHD (autistic + ADHD), and I’ve single-parented two very different AuDHD lads who are now thriving humans out in the world. They’re polar opposites, so it’s been a fun, sometimes chaotic, always fascinating ride.

The Work Bit (but not too boring)

I've spent over a decade working with hundreds of families, individuals, and couples in the neurodiverse space. Before I became an accredited mental health social worker, I worked for 10 years supporting people through some pretty significant challenges helping them change behaviours, rebuild, and create lives that actually worked for them.

Degrees, Theories, and Real Talk

I've got a few uni qualifications (you can scroll down for the list) which give me a broad perspective on what works, what doesn’t, and which “therapies” are still up for debate. Only evidence based neurodivergent specific counselling methods grab my attention.  I’m a serial learner and love the work i do, but I’m not egotistical enough to think I know everything. Every single day, I learn something new from the people I work with.

Be curious, not judgemental ... and yes, I totally stole that from Ted Lasso.

Gen Z Translator

How do I know what “IRL” means? Because I actually listen. I follow the Ted Lasso philosophy: Be curious, not judgemental. You’ll hear me say “Tell me more about that” a lot, because I genuinely want to understand your experience so we can explore it together (and yes, I hate the word “unpack” too).

Hyperfocus and Joy

As a neurodivergent person, I have my hyperfocuses. In the room we’ll work in (and this website), you’ll see things that bring me joy and I’ll try (really) not to info-dump about them as you’re leaving. No promises, though.

I can’t promise I won’t go off on a tangent, but I can promise I’ll always be listening.

In Case You Were Wondering

Officially Qualified, But Still Human

I’ve collected a few official bits of paper over the years the kind that let me do this work legally and ethically.

They’ve given me  theories, tools, broader understanding and a few good ideas. They’ve also taught me which approaches that have had loads of research showing how useful they are for many people.

Here’s the short version:

– Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AASW)
– Bachelor of Social Practice (Social Work)
– Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Guidance Counselling)

– Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Practice

– Master of Social Work

– Master of Autism and Neurodivergent Studies (Graduation 2026)

Honestly, I would not be the therapist I am without the academic study, but the most valuable lessons I’ve learned have come from the people I work with, and the quality of the relationships we build in sessions..

What's in My Toolkit

Beacause experience matters and so does knowing my stuff.

My work is a mix of lived experience, formal qualifications, and professional development that actually makes sense in the real world.

I’ve tried plenty of training over the years, and I keep the stuff that works  especially for neurodivergent teens, adults, and couples.

I’m picky about what I learn. If it’s just another one-size-fits-all theory, it doesn’t make the cut. But if it helps people understand themselves better, communicate more clearly, or make life run smoother, it earns a place in my toolkit.

Recently, I’ve added:

  • Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

  • DBT Skills for Neurodivergent People

  • ADHD Coaching

  • Neurodivergency and Sexuality

And the learning never stops because people, brains, and relationships don’t stop teaching me.
